Religious antique French Catholic copper crucifix mounts, or 'corpus Christi' (body of Holy Jesus Christ) with nails. Set of 2. Made of cast metal with a brass gilt finish. The body has oxidized, adding to the charm and authenticity.These figures were once part of a crucifix and were separated from the cross. Good vintage used condition, especially for their age. Unpolished to preserve detail and patina. Some age-related marks are present, which do not affect their usage or display.Measurements: Larger: 7" tall x 4 1/2" wide x 1" thick. Smaller: 5 1/4" tall x 3 1/2" wide x 3/4" thick. Can be mounted on a gallery wall or used for crafting.
